Join this brand-new community celebration at Winfield City Lake, where you can enjoy a laid-back 5K trail run or walk across beautiful natural scenery including grass, gravel, rocky sections, gentle hills, and creek crossings—no timing required, just fun! Organized by William Newton Hospital Auxiliary and the City of Winfield in partnership with Huxley's Halo of Hope, the event pairs running with a fishing tournament and donates half of all proceeds to support families who've experienced infant loss. For $25 per adult or $20 per child (10 and under), you'll receive a commemorative shirt, full-day lake access, swag, chances to find hidden treasures with cash prizes, and post-race food and drinks, with check-in starting at 7:45 AM and the start time at 8:00 AM.
