Appleseeds welcomes runners from kindergarten through 12th grade—whether they attend local schools or are homeschooled—and organizes them into three divisions with different race distances: elementary runners compete in 1-mile races, middle schoolers tackle 3k, and high schoolers run 5k. The team practices Monday and Wednesday evenings from August 10th through October 14th, with multiple meets scheduled throughout the season at times that vary by age group.
