Head to Annapolis High School (a new venue this year!) on Saturday, June 27th, 2026 to tackle the classic one-mile distance in the 45th annual John Wall Memorial One Mile Track Run, which is the fourth race in the Annapolis Striders Championship Series. The event kicks off with a youth heat at 8:00 AM, followed by mixed heats organized by estimated finish time, with the speediest runners competing in the final heat—and athletes of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join in. This race honors John Edward Wall, an accomplished track athlete and Navy veteran who was a Striders member; the event was renamed in his memory in 1988, the year after he passed away at age 74.
