Join this second-year summer celebration featuring a 5K run or walk through downtown Alpena, where you'll enjoy lovely floral decorations from nearby shops while taking in scenic views of the lakefront, historic districts, and convenient walking paths throughout the area. The Downtown Alpena Run Club and sponsors Highpointe Rehab and Performance and Harborside Cycle and Sport have organized this community event, with all money raised going to the Thunder Bay Trails Association to support their trail maintenance efforts. Plan to arrive by 8am for registration and bib pickup, with the race beginning at 9:30am on Saturday.
