Head to Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte to pay tribute to the 343 firefighters we lost on 9/11 by climbing 343 stairs alongside Charlotte County Fire & EMS—whether you're a seasoned athlete or just starting your fitness journey, you can take the climb at your own pace and be part of this meaningful memorial. The gates welcome you at 7:30 a.m., with an opening ceremony at 8 a.m. and groups heading up the stairs beginning at 8:30 a.m. every 15 minutes, so bring your cheering squad and help ensure these heroes are always remembered!
