Get ready to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this beloved Royal Oak tradition on Sunday, Sept. 13, where you can choose between a competitive 5K that starts on 10 Mile Service Drive and loops through nearby Huntington Woods before finishing inside the Zoo, or a leisurely 1.25-mile Fun Walk beginning at 8:45 a.m. that lets you enjoy the Detroit Zoo at your own pace with educational activities and treats along the way. Grab your race packet the day before (Saturday, Sept. 12, 10 a.m.–4 p.m.) at the 10 Mile Parking Lot, and join thousands of fellow runners and walkers supporting the Zoo!
