Get ready to kick off Independence Day week with Brigantine's 2nd Annual Firecracker 5K, where you can choose to run, run/walk the 5K, join a dog-friendly 1-mile walk, or bring the kids for a 1/4-mile fun run on an out-and-back course along Brigantine Avenue. Registration costs $35 if you sign up by June 14th, $40 through June 27th, or $45 on race day (June 28th), with packet pickup available Friday and Saturday at Bikes By the Beach or Sunday morning at 6:30 am. All participants receive a finisher medal, and the 5K and dog walkers get a race t-shirt plus post-race snacks and beverages, with age group, overall, masters, and best-dressed pup awards available!
