This beloved community event honors 12-year-old Kristin Burkholder, who tragically lost her life in a pedestrian-car accident while running track practice in Esko back in 1997. All race proceeds go directly toward scholarships for local Esko students, making this a meaningful way to support your community while staying active. Get there early for 7:00am check-in, catch the kids race at 8:00am, and join the main 5k at 8:30am (no registration needed!), with awards given to overall winners and top finishers across multiple age groups from 5 to 70+.
