Gather at Smothers Park Overlook Stage in Downtown Owensboro for this meaningful 4th annual 5K memorial run celebrating the life of Roxanne Pickrell, a young girl who lost her battle with brain cancer in 2019. Created by her parents Jason and Cathy Pickrell, the event features a fresh downtown course along Frederica Street, plus a 1-mile race and Kids Dash, with participants earning t-shirts and awards while supporting the Roxanne Pickrell Memorial Fund. Every dollar raised goes directly to local nonprofits, with 2026's proceeds helping the Owensboro Fire Department's Puzzle Pieces Lip Sync Battle initiative.
