Rockefeller Jr. over a century ago—you'll spend nine miles of this scenic half marathon cruising through Acadia National Park on those original hard-packed carriage roads, complete with charming granite bridges and lush forest views. Starting in the quaint coastal town of Bar Harbor, this hilly route winds through the national park before bringing you back to town, and all finishers earn a medal plus a commemorative t-shirt. Just remember to grab your bib at the MDI YMCA on Friday, September 11th (2-7pm), since there's no race-day packet pickup!
