Training Options:

There are three levels of training supported by the NordicTrack C 1650 and NordicTrack C 1750 treadmills: basic/manual, programmed workouts, and iFit.

NordicTrack C 1650 Treadmill

Each level of training comes with more support, motivation, and resources than you can imagine. It’s like they’ve thought of everything to make sure you that you are staying on top of your workout game. In this respect, both machines are very similar.

When you start to look at the training capabilities of the machines, you’ll notice that the NordicTrack C 1650 has an incline range of 0-12% and speed range from 0-12 MPH, whereas the NordicTrack C 1750 has a larger incline range, with a -3-15% decline and incline options.

With the increased range of decline and incline options available with the NordicTrack C 1750, you’re going to experience greater training capabilities.

This is especially helpful for people who are training for outdoor courses in varied terrain. Also, when you use Google Maps technology on your runs, your incline and decline adjustments will be more realistic.

Mechanics:

The 20” x 60” belt on the NordicTrack C 1650 features FlexSelect cushioning technology that allows you to decide how much cushioning you want your treadmill to provide for you.

This machine is powered by a 3.5 continuous horsepower motor that will provide a smooth, consistent workout. The maximum user weight is 300 pounds. The NordicTrack C 1750 features a wider belt at 22” x 60” and the same FlexSelect cushioning technology.

NordicTrack C 1650 Treadmill

The machine has a 3.6 continuous horsepower motor, which is only .1 more than the NordicTrack C 1650. The maximum user weight is 300 pounds. There are a few key differences to these treadmills.

The NordicTrack C 1650 has 1.9” rollers, whereas the NordicTrack C 1750 has 2.5” rollers. This is a significant size difference. The rollers on a treadmill are used to keep your run smooth, and the larger the roller, the smoother the run.

Also, larger rollers help reduce wear on the treadmill belt, and they grip it better to reduce slipping. Since rollers are the most commonly replaced item on a treadmill, buying a treadmill with larger rollers can have a significant impact on how long your treadmill lasts without needing repair.

It is worth noting that both of these machines are in the “Commercial” series of NordicTrack treadmills, which means they are designed for pretty heavy usage.

NordicTrack C 1650 Treadmill

If there are only one or two users in your household, your machine will be receiving significantly less wear and tear than a treadmill in a gym that is being used nearly continuously throughout the day.

This means personal use owners of the NordicTrack C 1650 and NordicTrack C 1750 treadmills should not have to worry about wearing their machine out.

With a slightly larger motor and much larger rollers, the NordicTrack C 1750 wins the mechanics category when compared to the NordicTrack C 1650. These features will allow for a smoother, quieter run, even during your most intense workouts.

As I mentioned before, though, both of these machines were designed for commercial use, so they will exceed the longevity and luxury standards that most people are looking for in a basic at-home treadmill.

Extra Features:

In a surprising turn of events, the NordicTrack C 1650 has a larger display than the NordicTrack C 1750! Both machines offer touch-screen, full color consoles, but the NordicTrack C 1650 screen is 10” while the NordicTrack C 1750 has a much smaller 7” screen.

The Proform 2000, 9000 and the Sole F80 are also comparable models if you are interested in other options.

NordicTrack C 1650 Treadmill

Many people would assume the price difference between these machines was based on the television size, but in this case, the less expensive machine has the bigger screen.

The NordicTrack C 1750 has bigger, higher quality speakers than the NordicTrack C 1650. Both machines have adjustable tablet holders, two cup holders, auxiliary ports, Bluetooth smart capabilities, and a workout fan.

NordicTrack Commercial 1750 Includes a 1-Year iFit Membership

For this category, the NordicTrack C 1650 is the winner because it has a much larger screen than the NordicTrack C 1750. This is especially beneficial if you are planning to use the iFit workouts available.

Warranty:

Since they are manufactured by the same company, we aren’t surprised to find out that both machines offer the same warranty: lifetime frame and motor warranty, a 5-year parts warranty, and a 2-year labor warranty. This is pretty standard for the industry.

It is hard to declare an overall winner when we are comparing the NordicTrack C 1650 to the NordicTrack C 1750. Both machines are very similar, and the winner would depend on your specific needs.

If you are excited about iFit, you’d probably be tempted to go with the NordicTrack C 1650, which has a larger screen. If you are looking for a more durable machine with more training capabilities, such as an increased range of decline and incline options, then the NordicTrack C 1750 would be better for.

Either way, you can’t really go wrong. Both of these machines have strong reputations for being fantastic treadmills.
