As the name suggests, the main ingredient in these products is Emu oil. Additional ingredients vary with the product in question.
I used the the Original Blue-Emu Super strength cream as a case study in this review.
This cream combines emu oil with Aloe Vera, MSM, and Glucosamine.
I explain these ingredients and let you in on their role in pain relief and skin repair.
Emu Oil
This oil comes from a flightless bird called the Emu which was originally found in Australia.
The oil has a bright yellow color and was originally used as a sunscreen and skin moisturizer. It goes through purification to ward off pollutants and bacteria.
But what exactly makes emu oil exceptional?
