Join us on August 8th at 8:00 AM at Baseline Road Trailhead in Ocala for the brand new First-Gen 5K, a community celebration that brings together runners, families, local businesses, and leaders to support first-generation students while promoting health and wellness. You'll get all the race perks including chip timing, a finisher medal, custom shirt, organized pace groups (sub-20, sub-23, and sub-26 minutes), awards, sponsor booths, music, and refreshments, plus one runner will be selected for the First Gen Future Award ($500) recognizing a first-gen student's achievements and aspirations. Every dollar raised goes directly to the First Generation Foundation, Vida Valiente Foundation, and local scholarship programs that empower first-generation students.
