Head out on Crested Butte's most storied trail race, which has been challenging runners since the early days and now gives you options: stick with the classic 15k route or push yourself on the newer 25k loop. For 2026, cyclists can also join in on a bike version that covers roughly 14.83 miles with nearly 4,000 feet of elevation gain (following the 25k run course minus the Green Lake out-and-back). Just know this is a grassroots event—don't expect extensive merchandise or finish-line podiums, but do expect an authentic, challenging experience.
