Calling all runners and walkers who enjoy a good time! This fun 5K in Elk Grove takes place at the scenic Busse Woods Forest Preserve where you'll vote whether Team Beer or Team Wine will win, then enjoy two complimentary drink tickets (for 21+), a double-sided finisher's medal, age group prizes, a DJ, free photos, and snacks at the Saturday afternoon party on July 18, 2026. The event kicks off with packet pickup at 12:45pm, the party begins at 1:00pm, the chipped-timed 5K starts at 2:00pm, and festivities wrap up by 4:00pm.
