Celebrate the 50th anniversary of this beloved community 5K hosted by the Downriver Runners club, featuring a speedy, flat route through Allen Park neighborhoods starting and finishing at Allen Park Presbyterian Church. The morning begins at 8:30am with a kids fun run, followed by the main 5K at 9:00am, with awards announced afterward for overall and age group winners. All race proceeds support the Tony Mifsud scholarship program, which provides $1,000 college scholarships to two local high school runners in memory of Tony Mifsud, a founding member of both the Downriver Runners and this race.
