Head to Chester, MD to join the Kent Island Outrigger Canoe Club for this multi-distance paddling event that supports three important Bay conservation organizations: the Chesapeake Conservancy (working toward National Park status), WaterKeepers Chesapeake (protecting water quality), and Oyster Recovery Partnership (planting billions of oysters). With four races across three distances—including a challenging 35-mile solo and team circumnavigation for OC1/2s, surfskis, SUPs, and kayaks starting from Kent Island Yacht Club—you'll be contributing to environmental restoration since 100% of registration fees are tax-deductible donations that go directly to these nonprofits. Solo and small team paddlers on the longer distances should note that no support boats are provided, so you'll need to arrange your own land support and have prior experience completing similar distances.
