Sea to Summit Triathlon
Get ready for an unconventional adventure that blends endurance triathlon with the intensity of an adventure race—starting with a 1.2-mile swim and 95-mile bike before finishing with a challenging 5.5-mile climb to the summit of Mt. Washington, the Northeast's highest peak. This largely self-supported event launches at 5:30 am on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from the coastal town of South Berwick, Maine, and concludes atop Mt. Washington in New Hampshire's White Mountains. To compete, age-group athletes must have completed either a full-distance triathlon in 14:15 or less or a half-distance triathlon in 6:15 or less after January 1, 2021, and placed in the top 75% of their age group in that qualifying race—ensuring all participants can safely finish before dark.
