Head to the High Desert East Trailhead in Gallup (just west of US491 on Carbon Coal Rd) on Saturday, June 6th for this free McKinley County event that offers something for everyone—choose between mountain biking distances of 6 or 15 miles, running distances of 7K or 15K, or taking a fun walk. You'll find convenient parking across the street, with packet pickup beginning at 6:15am and all activities starting at 7am. Keep in mind that the 2026 edition is currently at capacity, but organizers are keeping an eye out for any spots that might open up as people adjust their registrations.
