Founded by Baltimore Open Water Swimmers (BOWS), a new nonprofit focused on building an inclusive swimming community and championing clean, accessible waterways, this inaugural event highlights the Patapsco River's improvements while raising funds for youth swim education and water safety initiatives through Baltimore City's Recreation & Parks.
